About the Program and Its Importance

This three-hour, online course covers the following:

Storage

• Existing Storage > Spill, Management, and Construction Plans + Inspection Report
• New Storage > Requirements for DNR Approval

Preparing for a DNR Audit

• Portable Restrooms > Log Books, Spill Plan, WWTP Disposal
• Vehicle Requirements > Lettering, DNR Stickers, Type of Equipment
• Septic Tanks, Holding Tanks & Grease Trap Cleaning > Types of Equipment, Disposal Logs, Abbreviations, Lettering
• Septic Tank and Holding Tank Disposal > Incorporation & pH Adjustments, Log Books, Spill Plans, Types of Equipment, Materials Kept in Vehicles

 There will be time during the session for questions and interaction with other attendees. 

Continuing Education Credits

This program has been approved for three (3) hours of Septage Compliance Credit.  Operators will be asked to digitally “sign” in and out of the program and to respond periodically to instructor questions using a “chat” feature in the webinar program.  (Instructions will be provided during the program.)  No partial credits.  Credits will be submitted to the WDNR no later than Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

About the Instructors

Your instructors are John Bowen, Emily Pierson, Alan Kaddatz, and Rick Walter.  Each is a business owner in the septage industry and a member of the WLWCA Board of Directors.  Each is a licensed, experienced pumper and a seasoned presenter – both virtually and in-person – of industry-related, practical knowledge related to this topic and the industry.
